Brighton Volunteer Fire Company 5 and Brighton Fire District 5 are responsible
for protecting 7.1 square miles within the Town of Tonawanda,(Erie
County, NY) and proudly serve a population of over 50,000.
Coverage is provided by the following Stations: Station
1 located at 50 Jamaica Rd., Station 2 at 26 McConkey
Drive, and Station 3 at 987 Ellicott Creek Road.
Brighton's 80+ active firefighters (100% volunteer) drill (train) weekly. Many firefighters supplement training by attending additional courses offered at local, state, and federal levels. Brighton's procedures, policies, and mission cohesively align to provide fire protection and fire safety education for the continued well being of the community.
